Winch Box Recovery
Stonewall Towing & Recovery operates the most powerful winch box recovery setup in Southwest Florida—designed for high-stakes recoveries where conventional equipment falls short.
Built for precision and force, our hydraulic winch box allows us to anchor, pull, and extract in the toughest conditions—soft terrain, narrow access points, and off-road locations where safety, reach, and control are non-negotiable.
When the job demands more than a standard solution, this is the system that gives us the advantage.

Stonewall Towing & Recovery Winch Box Recovery
Built for the Toughest Recoveries
This winch box isn’t backup—it’s a frontline tool in our fleet, purpose-built for recoveries that push beyond what standard tow trucks can handle.
Mounted to our Kubota SVL75-2 track loader and powered entirely by its hydraulic system, the unit is fully self-sufficient and built to work where wreckers can’t safely operate. There’s no need for outside power, no support vehicles—just clean deployment and total control.
We bring it in fast on our rollback, position it with precision, and anchor from stable ground. When weight, terrain, or access turn into a problem, this is how we stay in control.
Our Winch Box Recovery System – Where it Works
Tractor-Trailer Winch Box Recovery
A loaded tractor-trailer became stuck in soft, open ground with no firm surface nearby to support heavy equipment. Instead of escalating to a full-size wrecker, we deployed our winch box and track loader combination to a safe, stable position. From there, we executed a direct, controlled pull—completing the recovery without damaging the surrounding area or introducing unnecessary equipment to the scene.

Loader Recovery in Unstable Conditions
A tracked loader slipped into a ditch along the edge of a work site, settling into soft, uneven terrain that made traditional recovery unsafe. The soil wouldn’t support the weight of a wrecker, and the limited access left no safe angle for conventional equipment.
We responded with our hydraulic winch box, staging it on stable ground well outside the hazard area. Powered directly by the track loader’s hydraulics, the system gave us full control from a safe distance—no outside power, no additional trucks, and no time wasted. This method allowed for:
Minimal site disruption—no need to bring heavy equipment close to the ditch
Precision pulling, avoiding further stress or damage to the loader
Efficient recovery, completed without delay or escalation
The machine was recovered in one clean, controlled pull. No impact to the surrounding area, no unnecessary risk—just the right tool applied with the right approach.
Excavator Recovery in Rutted Terrain
An excavator became stuck in deep ruts on a job site where the ground was too unstable for heavy wreckers to reach. The access route was narrow, uneven, and already compromised—making traditional recovery impossible without risking further damage.
Our track loader navigated the terrain and positioned the hydraulic winch box on firmer ground within range. With a steady, controlled pull, we recovered the excavator without introducing additional equipment or disturbing the site. The job was completed cleanly, with no equipment strain, no ground damage, and no delays.

Canal-Side Extraction
A piece of equipment became stuck near a canal, with its rear wheels deeply buried in saturated ground. The location offered limited access, and the surrounding area couldn’t support the weight or footprint of a conventional wrecker.
We brought in the winch box and positioned it where we could anchor safely without disturbing the property. From that compact setup, we executed a clean recovery—protecting the canal bank, avoiding further sinking, and bringing the machine out without damage. No overreach, no site disruption—just the right tool applied with precision.
Winch Box Recovery – Bringing Strategy to Every Scene
Our hydraulic winch box is one of the most capable recovery tools in the Stonewall Towing & Recovery fleet—designed for situations where weight, terrain, or limited access demand more than standard equipment can provide.
We assess every scene and bring the right tools for the job—not just what’s available, but what’s most effective. When a recovery calls for stability, distance, and control, this setup gives us the edge.
Deploying this unit provides clear advantages:
Faster resolution in complex recoveries
Minimal ground disturbance in soft or restricted environments
Controlled pulling when safety is the top priority
Efficient resource use, avoiding unnecessary equipment on scene
It’s one more way Stonewall Towing & Recovery brings capability, experience, and strategy to the kinds of recoveries others aren’t equipped to handle.
